Deadmau5 "4x4=12" review

this was supposed to be Deadmau5' break through album but unfortunately it has turned out to be anything but. Now don't get me wrong i am a Deadmau5 die hard, in my eyes the quirky canadian dj can do no wrong, there is nothing wrong with "4x4=12" theres just something not quite right about it.

Deadmau5 wont do enough in this album to create mainstream ripples, and he hasn't  been quite as adventurous as the Deadmau5 faithful would have hoped. We do see glimpses of exploration as Deadmau5 tries his hand at dubstep in "raise your weapon" but his efforts are left wanting.

upon purchasing this album you will receive the Deadmau5 guarantee of some excellent dance tunes that one can easily shake ones ass too and this guarantee comes in the form of the trippy techno sounds of
"bad selection"
"sofi needs a ladder"
"some chords"
and "animal rights"

now although the music on the album is somewhat of a disappointment due to the high standards we have come to expect from Deadmau5, the itunes lp edition of the album is accompanied by a spectrum of impressive effects and extras such as videos that intend to incorporate the feel of his sensational live performances into the album.

buy the album, if money is tight purchase the a-for
mentioned singles.
